Paris MoU on PSC Presentation of STCW Wizard

Following an invitation from Paris Memorandum of Understanding on Port State Control, The Norwegian Maritime Directorate and Sectoria Systems held a joint presentation on systematising and distributing IMO's STCW 78/95 Convention requirements.

The presentation covered NMD's experiences prior to and after employing Sectoria's STCW Wizard, a brief introduction to the system itself, selected areas of importance regarding international uniformity and cooperation and concluded with a discussion involving the delegates. STCW Wizard was very well received, and the system was overall regarded as a useful tool for all member states to pursue seafarers' compliance with the STCW Convention requirements, as well as a very suitable solution to free resources in the strive to ensure uniformity within the Paris MoU area.

Sectoria Systems seek to be able to offer STCW Wizard with the generic STCW requirements as a service to the shipping community in cooperation with Paris MoU or the individual member states in the near future. As of today, STCW Wizard only contains the national STCW related regulations for Norway.
